Lemon Parsley Swordfish

Quick and Healthy Meal

Easy and simple dish for dinner or lunch. I bought my fish from Trader Joe’s. It came in a frozen vacuum sealed bag. Each bag has two one-inch thick swordfish steaks. The price was not bad at all compared to what they normally charge at a seafood restaurant.

Swordfish, Parsley, Lemon, and Garlic

I cooked my swordfish in a non-stick pan on the stove. It turned out pretty well and better than I expected.

Finely chop the parsley and slice the garlic into thin slices to bring out the flavor.

Swordfish is an excellent source of selenium. It’s rich in protein and loaded with niacin, vitamin B12, zinc and omega-3. It’s also a good choice for people who are watching their figure since it’s low in fat. Unfortunately, swordfish contains higher mercury levels, so moderation is important.
