Born in Taiwan and raised by a family of food enthusiasts, I now live with my quirky trio—me (the vertically challenged kitchen sorceress), Big Doofus (who tries to help but mostly adds to the chaos), and our fur-coated tyrant, Stevie (also known as The Chunker, a professional napper with a critical eye for food).
Travel, animals, and food are my holy trinity. When I’m not chasing new adventures, you’ll find me in my cozy kitchen—my sanctuary of silence where I experiment, create, and occasionally set things on fire. After years in healthcare, I took the plunge into tech. Timing, of course, couldn’t have been worse. Switching careers in midlife during the 2024 AI boom, while tech giants were laying off workers, felt like trying to win a marathon in flip-flops. But as the Chinese saying goes, “Doctor, Lawyer, or Failure!” Well, I’m not the first two, and I refuse to settle for the last.
I see life like a box of chocolates, each piece a mystery—some sweet, some bitter, but one of them is bound to be your favorite. You just have to keep tasting. With that mindset, I launched Fork & Paws, where I can blend my creativity to bring people together, share a laugh, and support each other along the way.
I’m no chef, just your friendly kitchen oddball, whipping up recipes, memories, and a healthy dose of sarcasm. Food is my way of connecting, and I serve it with stories, weird humor, and a side of “Did I really make that?”
